It shall be deemed a snow event in Evans City Borough whenever the National Weather Service has predicted an accumulation of snow within a twenty-four-hour period from November 1 to April 15 of each year. A snow event shall remain in effect at all times during which the National Weather Service has predicted an accumulation of snow within a twenty-four-hour period and for 24 hours thereafter.

During the snow event, it shall be unlawful to park on the following Borough roads, streets or alleys between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., prevailing time, where said street has posted "No parking from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. during snow events" or similar language:

It shall be the duty of the Police Department of Evans City Borough[1] to have towed any and all motor vehicles parked on a posted road, street or alley during any snow event. The owner of said towed vehicle shall be required to pay the fines for violation of this article, as well as all costs of towing, including storage fees, if any.
Any person or registered owner of any vehicle who or which violates any provision of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of $25 for a first offense, $50 for a second offense, and $100 for each offense thereafter, plus costs of prosecution (including attorneys' fees and costs) and costs for the towing and storage of vehicles as applicable.
