The positions of Village Clerk and Village Treasurer
in the Village service shall be bonded by a surety company as required
by Wisconsin Statutes.
In accordance with the provisions of § 70.67(2),
Wis. Stats., the Village Board of the Village of Shorewood hereby
agrees and binds the Village of Shorewood to pay, in case the Village
Treasurer or the Treasurer's successor in office shall fail so to
do, all taxes of any kind required by law to be paid by said Village
Treasurer or the Treasurer's successor in office to the County Treasurer
or the County Treasurer's successor in office.
