[HISTORY: Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Shorewood 4-7-1986 by Ord. No. 1477 as § 1-127 of the 1986 Code. Amendments noted where applicable.]

A. 
The following places are designated as locations in the Village where official public notices may be posted:
(1) 
Outside of and adjacent to the front entrance of the Village Hall located at 3930 N. Murray Avenue, Shorewood, Wisconsin.
(2) 
The front lobby of the Police Station located at 4057 N. Wilson Drive, Shorewood, Wisconsin.
(3) 
The lobby of the Shorewood Public Library located at 3920 N. Murray Avenue, Shorewood, Wisconsin.
(4) 
The Village of Shorewood website, www.villageofshorewood. org.
B. 
Pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 985.02(2), official public notices must either be posted in all three locations identified in Subsection A(1) through (3) above, or alternatively posted on the Village of Shorewood website and at least one of the locations identified in Subsection A(1) through (3) above.

Editor's Note: Pursuant to resolution adopted by the Village Board 3-19-2007, the Village no longer publishes in a newspaper unless required by law. The resolution provides for posting in accordance with this section of "all official public notices, Board of Review notices, election notices other than sample ballot, conditional uses, ordinances, resolutions, and minutes of Village Board proceedings."
