The duties and powers of the Chief Judge of the Municipal Court include, but are not limited to, being responsible for the entire administration of the Municipal Court, presiding over and adjudicating all matters filed with the Municipal Court, delegating duties to all staff, supervising staff, court calendar management and such other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Administrative Office of the Courts.
The term of the Chief Judge of the Municipal Court shall be for a period of three years and may be reappointed at the will of the Mayor and Board of Commissioners.
The salary of the Chief Judge of the Municipal Court may be set forth in the annual Municipal Salary Ordinance.
