This chapter is adopted pursuant to Sections 9-190 and 9-191 of the
Connecticut General Statutes.
Commencing with the first regular election of Town Registrars of Voters
to occur after the effective date of this chapter, and in all subsequent elections
of Town Registrars of Voters, only two registrars of voters shall be elected
for the entire Town of Griswold, except as state law may otherwise specifically
require.
Nothing in this chapter shall be deemed to prohibit any vacancy in the
position of any Registrar of Voters holding office on the effective date of
this chapter from being filled for the balance of the term of that position.
