Town of Millsboro, DE Chapter 74 Buildings, Moving of

§ 74-1 Permit required.

No person, firm or corporation shall move or cause to be moved any building upon the streets of the Town of Millsboro, unless such person, firm or corporation shall first apply for and obtain a written permit authorizing such building to be moved.

§ 74-2 Application.

Application for a permit by a person, firm or corporation shall consist of the following information:

A. The size of the structure or building to be moved.

B. The length of the structure or building to be moved.

C. The height of the structure or building to be moved.

D. The date the building is to be moved.

E. The route by which the building is to be moved.

§ 74-3 Required signatures.

Permits are to be signed by a member of the Town Council or his authorized representative and the Chief of Police or his authorized representative.

§ 74-4 Violations and penalties.

Any person, firm or corporation convicted of any offense defined in § 74-1 hereof shall be fined not less than $25 nor more than $100 and shall pay the costs of prosecution.
