The position specifically designated as Treasurer, is necessary in Mannington
Township to assist the Chief Financial Officer in conforming to N.J.S.A. 40A:9-140.1
so that general statutory duties relating to finance may be carried out in
a manner which shall best serve the interests of the Township. Such position
of Municipal Treasurer is hereby created.
The duties of the Municipal Treasurer are described in the Chapter 105, Purchasing, of the Code of the Township of Mannington.
The salary for the Municipal Treasurer shall be determined by and shall
be paid in accordance with the appropriate provisions of the Mannington Township
Salary Ordinance.
