As used in this article, the following terms
shall have the meanings indicated:
AUTHORIZED PERSON
A.
An owner or occupant of premises on which or
abutting which discarded newspapers, magazines and glass are placed
for collection.
B.
A collector of trash or garbage authorized by
either the township, the Improvement Authority or the occupant of
any premises within the township to remove said items while in the
performance of prescribed collection duties.

C.
A person authorized by either the township,
the Improvement Authority or the owner or occupant of any premises
within the township to pick up and collect any of such items for recycling
purposes in accordance with Article IV, Recycling, of this chapter.

D.
A duly authorized representative or agent of
any of the foregoing persons.
No person other than an authorized person shall
touch, handle, pick up, collect or remove any newspapers, magazines
or glass when any of the same are placed for collection in the vicinity
of the curbline or street line of any premises within the township.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction therefor, be liable to the penalty in Chapter
1, General Provisions, Article
II, Penalty, §
1-3 or in Article
III, Recycling, § 148-25 of this chapter.
