No person shall discharge any airgun or other gun, cannon, pistol, revolver or firearm of any description within the corporate limits of the Village of Morrisville without lawful authority or without obtaining a permit from the Village Board. Such a permit may be obtained from the Village Board upon the submission of a written application, the payment of any application fee determined by resolution of the Village Board and the holding of a public hearing by the Village Board upon not less than five (5) days' notice to the public.
Any person found guilty of a violation of this chapter shall be punishable by a fine not exceeding two hundred fifty dollars ($250.) or imprisonment not exceeding fifteen (15) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
