The maximum speed at which vehicles may proceed on or along any streets or highways within the Village is hereby established at 30 miles per hour, except that the speed limit for vehicles proceeding on or along those streets or parts of streets described in Schedule I (§ 169-24), attached to and made a part of this chapter, shall be as indicated in said schedule.
The streets or parts of streets described in Schedule II (§ 169-25), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as one-way streets in the direction indicated.
No person shall make a turn of the kind designated (left, right, all) at any of the locations described in Schedule III (§ 169-26), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall make a right turn when facing a steady red signal (stop indication) at any of the locations described in Schedule IV (§ 169-27), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
The streets or parts of streets described in Schedule V (§ 169-28), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as through streets. Traffic control devices shall be installed on each street intersecting the through street.

A. 
As used in this chapter, the terms "snowmobile" and "all-terrain vehicle" (or ATV) shall have the same meaning as ascribed to such terms in the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York.
B. 
No person shall drive or operate a snowmobile or all- terrain vehicle (ATV) on or across any sidewalk within the Village of Morrisville, except that a snowmobile or ATV may be operated at a reasonable speed, but not more than five miles per hour, across (but not laterally along) a sidewalk in such manner as not to interfere with the safety and passage of pedestrians thereon, who shall have the right of way, when it is reasonable and necessary:
(1) 
To gain access to a public highway, private way or lands or buildings adjacent to such highway or way;
(2) 
In the conduct of work upon a highway, or upon a private-way or lands or buildings adjacent to such highway or way; or
(3) 
To plow snow or perform any other public service, for hire or otherwise, which could not otherwise be reasonably and properly performed.
C. 
Excluded from the prohibition set forth in Subsection B of this section shall be any all-terrain vehicle owned and/or operated by the Village of Morrisville or a duly designated employee or agent thereof, and any "authorized emergency ATV," "authorized police ATV" or "authorized civil defense ATV," as such terms are defined by the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York.
The intersections described in Schedule VI (§ 169-29), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as stop intersections. Stop signs shall be installed as provided therein.
The intersections described in Schedule VII (§ 169-30), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as yield intersections. Yield signs shall be installed as provided therein.
Trucks in excess of the weights indicated are hereby excluded from the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule VIII (§ 169-31), attached to and made a part of this chapter, except for the pickup and delivery of materials on such streets.
