The purpose of this chapter is to authorize
the Building Inspector of the Town of Wallkill and his designee(s)
and the Town of Wallkill Animal Control Officer to issue and serve
appearance tickets in connection with the violation of state statutes,
local laws, ordinances or rules and regulations of the Town of Wallkill,
which the Building Inspector and/or his designee(s) are authorized
and required to enforce.

A.
In addition
to any other chapters or provisions which the Building Inspector may
heretofore have been authorized to enforce, and notwithstanding anything
contrary in the Code of the Town of Wallkill, the Building Inspector
and/or his designee(s) are hereby authorized to enforce the following

B.
In addition
to any other chapters or provisions which the Animal Control Officer
may heretofore have been authorized to enforce, and notwithstanding
anything contrary in the Code of the Town of Wallkill, the Animal
Control Officer is hereby authorized to enforce the following Town
Code provisions:
In addition to the chapters and provisions set forth in § 3-2 above, the Building Inspector, and/or his designee(s) shall be further authorized to enforce any and all chapters and provisions of the Town of Wallkill Code, including any sections that have heretofore been enforced by the Code Enforcement Officer, as well as any other and further provision, chapter, local law, ordinance or rule or regulation of the Town of Wallkill, where an enforcement officer for same is not specifically designated.
A.
Nothing contained in this chapter shall, in any manner,
affect the authorization of every police officer in the Town of Wallkill
to enforce every provision of the Code of the Town of Wallkill.
B.
Nothing contained in this chapter shall, in any manner, affect the authorization of the Town of Wallkill Stormwater Management Officer to enforce Chapter 203 of the Code of the Town of Wallkill.
C.
Nothing contained in this chapter shall, in any manner,
affect the authorization of the designated Town of Wallkill Water
and Sewer Department heads, and their designees, to enforce all provisions
of the Code of the Town of Wallkill and the State of New York applicable
to sewage disposal and water supply matters.
A.
Police officers. Any police officer employed by the
Town of Wallkill is hereby authorized to issue appearance tickets
in the name of the Town of Wallkill for the violation of any chapter,
section and/or provision of the Code of the Town of Wallkill. The
Town of Wallkill Parking Enforcement Officer, as a designee of the
Town of Wallkill Police Department, in the course of performing his
or her normally assigned duties is hereby authorized to issue appearance
tickets in the name of the Town of Wallkill for violations of the
vehicle inspection and registration provisions of the New York State
Vehicle and Traffic Law and/or the Code of the Town of Wallkill.

B.
Building Inspector. The Building Inspector and his designee(s) are hereby authorized to issue appearance tickets in the name of the Town of Wallkill for the violation of any chapter, section and/or provision of the Code of the Town of Wallkill which they are authorized to enforce, including but not limited to the provisions set forth in §§ 3-2 and 3-3 of this chapter.
C.
Stormwater Management Officer. The Stormwater Management Officer and his designee(s) are hereby authorized to issue appearance tickets in the name of the Town of Wallkill for the violation of Chapter 203 of the Code of the Town of Wallkill.
D.
Superintendent of Water and Sewer. The Superintendent
of Water and Sewer and his designees are hereby authorized to issue
appearance tickets in the name of the Town of Wallkill for the violation
of any provision of the Code of the Town of Wallkill or of the New
York State Law applicable to sewage disposal and water supply matters.
E.
Animal Control Officer. The Animal Control Officer is hereby authorized to issue appearance tickets in the name of the Town of Wallkill for the violation of any chapter, section and/or provision of the Code of the Town of Wallkill which he or she is authorized to enforce, limited to the provisions set forth in § 3-2B of this chapter.
