A. There shall be a Parks and Recreation Board consisting
of seven members appointed by the City Council for overlapping terms.
The membership shall consist of seven private citizens.
B. Upon the expiration of the terms of the members, successors
shall be appointed for three-year terms.

A. The Parks and Recreation Board may adopt regulations
for the administration and operation of Lake El Reno area, El Reno
City parks, the El Reno Senior Citizens Center and other recreational
facilities belonging to, or under the control, of the City, excluding
the Crimson Creek Golf Club/Course. The Board may provide suggestions
to the El Reno City Council for the promotion of recreational activities
and propose and update development plans for all City parks within
the City of El Reno. All of the actions of the Parks and Recreation
Board shall be subject to the ordinances of the City and approval
of the El Reno City Council.
B. This is an advisory board, which shall meet for special
meetings as needed and make recommendations to the City Council or
to the City Manager regarding the use, development and operation of
Lake El Reno, El Reno City parks, the El Reno Senior Citizens Center
and other recreational facilities belonging to, or under the control,
of the City, excluding the Crimson Creek Golf Course, and the promotion
of recreation within the City.
