All municipal claims due the City shall be paid by the owner within 30 days from the date of the City's invoice for such municipal claims, unless a longer period is provided by law.
Upon failure of the owner to pay a municipal claim due the City in accordance with the provisions of § 36-6 (including the administrative fee), the City shall be entitled to collect a penalty equal to the lesser of 10% of the total municipal claim (inclusive of the administrative fee), or the maximum penalty permitted by applicable law.
Upon failure of the property owner to pay a municipal claim due the City in accordance with the provisions of § 36-6 (including the administrative fee), the City shall be entitled to collect interest at the rate of 10% upon the total amount due (inclusive of the administrative fee and penalties) or the maximum interest permitted by law, if less than 10% per annum.
Upon failure of the property owner to pay a municipal claim in accordance with the provisions of § 36-6 (including the administrative fee, interest and penalties), the City shall be entitled to pursue any or all of the remedies identified in the Municipal Claims Act, including but not limited to the imposition of a municipal lien, pursuit of an action in assumpsit, issuance of a writ of scire facias, entry of judgment, execution thereon and collection of interest, penalties, charges, expenses, fees and attorney fees in accordance with existing provisions of law.
