No person shall willfully or carelessly break, throw down, extinguish,
injure or destroy any lamp, lamppost, iron or fixture of the lamps set up
to light the streets and alleys of the city, nor willfully or carelessly break,
injure or destroy any ladder, sentry box or furniture thereof.
Whoever violates any provision of this article shall, upon conviction
thereof, be fined not less than $50 nor more than $600 for each and every
violation and in default of payment thereof shall be imprisoned for not more
than 20 days.
