There is hereby established within the Department
of Planning and Redevelopment a new division to be entitled "Division
of Zoning and Code Enforcement."

The Division of Zoning and Code Enforcement
shall be operated under the immediate supervision and control of a
Director, which Director shall serve under the rules and regulations
of the personnel system.
The Director for the Division of Zoning and Code Enforcement shall have the duty of direct supervision over the activities of the building, electrical and plumbing inspectors and, in addition, shall administer and enforce Chapter 410, Zoning.
