The Director of Finance of the City of Pawtucket
is hereby authorized and directed to establish a fund for the purpose
of purchasing fire-fighting equipment for the City of Pawtucket. He
or she is authorized and directed to allocate out of current revenue
in each year up to $25,000 for this purpose.
If this sum so allocated in any one year is
not expended for the above purpose during the said year, said funds
so allocated or any portion of the same which shall not be expended
shall not revert to the surplus fund but shall remain in the Fire-Fighting
Equipment Fund.
