§ 351-54 Use of police for directing traffic; expense.

Whenever any construction or repair work is performed within the confines of the City of Pawtucket by private contractors and traffic will be delayed or interrupted, Pawtucket police will be used solely for direction and maintaining of said traffic at the contractor's expense.

§ 351-55 Term defined.

Private contractors shall also include public utilities, such as electric, gas or telephone service.

§ 351-56 Notification of Police Division.

Said contractors shall contact the Pawtucket Police Division immediately, and said Pawtucket police shall be taken from the off-duty work roster.

§ 351-57 Violations and penalties.

Any violation of the above shall result in a fine of $100 for each incident.
