In the design of the plat, due consideration shall be given by the subdivider
and the Plan Commission to the reservation of suitable sites of adequate area
for future schools, parks, playgrounds and other public purposes. Consideration
shall be given to the preservation of stands of existing trees, lakes, ponds
and watercourses.
