No person shall be prohibited from holding an
appointive Village office as defined by § 3-301 of the Village
Law in the Village of Naples because of his or her lack of residence
in the Village, provided that such person shall be a resident of Ontario
County at the time of his or her appointment and shall
otherwise meet all other requirements or qualifications for such office
as provided by the laws of the State of New York.
