The Village of Naples is the owner of a parcel
of land of approximately five acres located in the Town of Naples
and adjacent to the north boundary of the Village. This parcel is
used by the Village as the site for the Village's municipal water
storage tank. The Town of Naples has consented that the Village annex
this parcel so that it shall become a part of the Village and thus
exempt from real property taxation. The Board of Trustees of the Village
has determined that the annexation of said property will substantially
reduce the potential real property tax burden of the Village of Naples
and is, therefore, in the best interests of the citizens of the Village.
The following described real property is hereby
annexed to and made a part of the Village of Naples:
ALL THAT TRACT OR PARCEL OF LAND, situate in
the Town of Naples, County of Ontario and State of New York, bounded
and described as follows:

Commencing at a point in the center line of
a Village street known as Mt. Pleasant Street, at a point which is
N 54° 30' W, a distance of 21.00 feet from the intersection
of said center line with the west line of lands now or formerly of
the Lehigh Valley Railroad; thence N 40° 00' 00" E and along
the center line of an existing lane, a distance of 150.00 feet to
a point; thence N 21° 45' 00" E and along the center line
of an existing lane, a distance of 360.00 feet to a point; thence
N 6° 15' 00" W and along the center line of an existing lane,
a distance of 200.00 feet to a point; thence S 85° 15' 00"
W, a distance of 150.00 feet to a point; thence N 50° 00'
00" W, a distance of 200.00 feet to a point; thence S 40° 00'
00" W, a distance of 200.00 feet to a point; thence S 50° 00'
00" E, a distance of 200.00 feet to a point; thence in an easterly
direction a distance of approximately 570 feet to a point in the center
line of Mt. Pleasant Street; thence in a northerly direction and along
the center line of Mt. Pleasant Street, a distance of approximately
100 feet to the point and place of beginning, containing approximately
five acres of land, more particularly delineated on a sketch prepared
by S. Scott Stevens, Jr., PLS, on the 9th day of June, 1987.

This local law shall take effect upon its filing in the office of the Secretary of State, and the annexation of the property described in § A400-2 of this local law shall be effective upon the same date.
