No person or persons shall remove, displace or in any manner interfere with any barrier, guardrail, or other object which shall have been placed along or across any public street in the Village of Island Park, Nassau County, New York, for the purpose of preventing persons, animals or vehicles from entering upon any street in which a roadway, concrete or otherwise, is about to be, is being, or which has been constructed.
No person or persons shall remove, displace or in any manner interfere with any lantern or other warning device which shall be used as a danger sign to warn approaching travelers at any place where a highway, street or sidewalk is about to be, is being or has been constructed.

No person or persons shall walk upon, enter upon, or drive any horse, automobile, motorcycle, motor vehicle, bicycle, or any other animal or vehicle upon any roadway or sidewalk, concrete or otherwise, which is about to be constructed, is being constructed or has been constructed, and which is guarded by any barrier, sign or signal for the purpose of preventing or warning persons from entering in or upon the same.
Any person committing an offense against this article shall be guilty of a violation punishable by a fine not exceeding $250 or by imprisonment for a period not exceeding 15 days for each offense, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
