Village of Island Park, NY Article VII Obstruction of Dedicated Streets

§ 510-24 Prohibited conduct.

It shall be unlawful for any person to encumber, block, build upon or in any other way interfere with access to and use of any street, road, highway, thoroughfare or sidewalk which is shown as such on the deed of dedication of said streets and highways.

§ 510-25 Penalties for offenses. [1]

Any person committing an offense against this article shall be guilty of a violation punishable by a fine not exceeding $250 or by imprisonment for a period not exceeding 15 days for each offense, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
