A.
The Town of Wethersfield shall hereby establish a
Wethersfield Cove Park Restoration/Preservation Fund (the "fund").
B.
There shall be deposited in said fund:
(1)
All monies received by the Town of Wethersfield, from
whatever source, for the recreational use of the Wethersfield Cove
Park, including but not limited to boat ramp launch fees and fees
for dock rings.
(2)
All monies received by the Town of Wethersfield, from
whatever source and by whatever means, including but not limited to
grants, loans and gifts provided to said fund.
(3)
All monies appropriated to said fund by the Town of
Wethersfield.
The fund shall be in the custody of the Finance Director of the Town of Wethersfield. All or any part of the monies in the fund may, from time to time, be invested in any investment in which public funds may be lawfully invested. All income derived from such investments shall be credited to the fund and become a part thereof. The monies so invested shall at all times be subject to withdrawal from such investments for use as provided in § 14-15 below.
Annually, the Finance Director, as custodian
of the fund, shall submit to the Council a complete and detailed report
of the financial condition of said fund, which report shall be made
a part of the Annual Municipal Report.
Upon authorization of the Town Council, the
monies in the fund may be used by the Town for purposes relating to
the study, improvement and benefit of the water quality and natural
habitat of the Wethersfield Cove Park and also relating to the construction,
repair and replacement of physical structures used for recreational
purposes at the Wethersfield Cove Park.
