No person over the age of 18 years who has been
convicted of a violation of any crime against a minor as listed in
N.J.S.A. 2C:7-1 et seq., and who, as a result of said conviction,
is required to register with the proper authorities pursuant to N.J.S.A.
2C:7-1 et seq, Registration and Notification of Release of Certain
Offenders, shall be permitted to reside or live within 500 feet of
any school, park, playground, day-care center or beachfront and/or
boardwalk within the Borough of Spring Lake.
A person who resides or lives within 500 feet
of any school, park, playground, day-care center or the beachfront
and/or boardwalk within the Borough of Spring Lake shall have 60 days
from receipt of written notice of the prohibition set forth herein
to move. Failure to move to a location which is in compliance with
this chapter within that time period shall constitute a violation
of this chapter.
This chapter shall not apply to persons who
have established a residence prior to October 1, 2005.
