Pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40A:9-140.1, there be and is hereby created the position of Municipal Treasurer of the Township of West Amwell, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.

The term of said Municipal Treasurer shall be for one year, beginning January 1 of each year.
The salary and compensation of the Municipal Treasurer shall be fixed and determined by the governing body on January 1 of each year.
The Municipal Treasurer shall give bond for the faithful performance of his or her duties in such sum, in such form and with such sureties as the governing body shall approve.
