This Part 2 shall be known as the "Rules and regulations of the Police Department of the Township of West Amwell."
A.
The purpose of this Part 2 is to establish rules and regulations governing the conduct of police officers and policies to be followed by police officers in responding to the general public, criminal activities and related matters.
B.
Distribution of copies; amendments.
(1)
At least two copies of these rules and regulations shall remain on file with the Township Clerk and be available for public inspection.
(2)
These rules and regulations may be amended from time to time, provided that copies of these amendments are incorporated into the official records of the Township Clerk.
(3)
Copies of these rules and regulations shall be issued to all civilian and uniformed employees of the West Amwell Police Department.
