It shall to unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to leave outside of any building or dwelling in a place accessible to children any abandoned, unattended or discarded ice box, refrigerator or any other container of any kind which has an airtight door equipped with a lock or fastening device which cannot be released from the inside, without first removing said door or fastening device from said ice box, refrigerator or container.
Any person, firm, or corporation violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not exceeding $100 or imprisoned for not in excess of 10 days. Each day such violation is committed or permitted to continue shall constitute a separate offense and shall be punishable as such.
