Since there is danger to life and property inherent in the use of electrical
energy, this chapter is enacted to regulate the installation, alteration,
repair and inspection of wiring for electric light, heat or power and for
signal systems operating on 50 volts or more in or on all real property within
the Town of Harrison, New York.
All electrical installations, repairs and alterations shall be made
in conformity with the requirements of the Building Code of the State of New
York.
Only materials, fittings and devices tested and approved by Underwriters'
Laboratories, Inc., and/or a nationally recognized testing laboratory, shall
be permitted.
