No vessel shall be operated at a greater speed
than five miles per hour in any waters or waterways situate within
the territorial limits of the village.
As used in this article, the following terms
shall have the meanings indicated:
VESSEL
Includes a power boat, sailboat, scow, barge, canoe, rowboat,
jet ski or other propulsion-powered water vehicle and every description
of watercraft or other contrivance used on or capable of being used
as a mean of transportation in water or on air.
Any person owning, operating, or in charge of any vessel which violates the provisions of this article or who assists in or permits a violation to occur shall, upon conviction, be punishable as provided in Chapter
1, General Provisions, Article
II.
