No person shall place a container that shall be more than 10 feet in height or more than 40 feet in any one dimension on any property within the Village. No person shall place a container on any property within the Village for a period exceeding 24 hours except as permitted by this chapter.
As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
CONTAINER
Includes any moveable storage vessel, shipping container, dumpster or other moveable object suitable for the storage or transfer of materials or items, which vessel, container, dumpster or other object shall:
A. 
Be more than six feet in height; and
B. 
Be of such length, width and height that the total of such three dimensions shall be greater than 20 feet.
Any person to whom a building permit shall have been issued may maintain a container on the premises as to which such building permit has been issued for the duration of such building permit, subject to the terms of § 61-5 below.
Any person may apply for a permit for the placement of a container on property owned by such person. Upon payment of a fee of $15 and upon certification by the Building Inspector that all requirements for the issuance of such permit have been met, such permit shall be issued and shall be valid for a period of 60 days from the date of issuance. Any application for a permit pursuant to the terms of this chapter shall specify the placement of the proposed container.
No container to be maintained pursuant to the terms of this chapter shall be placed less than 10 feet from any property line.
