The function of Dog Warden for the Town of Kent shall be performed by the Humane Society as provided under a contract entered into annually by the Town Board. The Humane Society shall also provide the services of a pound for the Town of Kent under the terms of said contract.

Pursuant to § 108 of the Agriculture and Markets Law, there is hereby created the position of Dog Enumerator, who shall perform a dog census in the Town of Kent during the month of November of each year, as provided by § 108 of the Agriculture and Markets Law. Said Enumerator shall be appointed by the Town Board annually.
