732. Subsequent amendments noted where applicable.]
A Township Planning Commission, to be composed
of up to seven members appointed as provided by law, is hereby created
in and for the Township of Exeter. The Planning Commission shall perform
all duties and may exercise all the powers conferred by law upon municipal
planning agencies. Provided: the members of the Planning Commission
who serve as of the time of adoption of this amended article remain
on the Planning Commission pursuant to Pennsylvania law, with each
member's tenure continuing, but any and all vacancies in said Commission,
hereafter occurring, shall be filled in the manner and for the term
provided in the law governing municipal planning commissions in effect
at the time of the happening of said vacancy. Members shall be compensated
at the rate of $35 per meeting not to exceed 12 meetings per year.
