The intent of this chapter is to require use of best
management practices to reduce the amount of sediment and other pollutants
resulting from land-disturbing construction activities, and to reduce the
rate and amount of post-construction stormwater and associated pollutants
reaching waters of the state.
B.
Use of this chapter will foster consistent, statewide
application of the construction site performance standards for new development
and redevelopment and the consistent statewide application of post-construction
performance standards for new development and redevelopment contained in Subchapters
III and IV of Wis. Admin. Code ch. NR 151.
