A. 
The Town Board of the Town of Neversink may compensate the Town Attorney and one or more Assistant Town Attorneys by paying a yearly fixed sum for the services of the Town Attorney and one or more Assistant Town Attorneys for general representation of the town or certain town boards or agencies assigned to either the Town Attorney or an Assistant Town Attorney, plus additional compensation at an hourly rate for additional services including litigation and drafting and reviewing proposed legislation. The Town Attorney or an Assistant Town Attorney may be paid additional compensation for representation of boards or agencies of the town other than those assigned to the Town Attorney or an Assistant Town Attorney.
B. 
The rate of compensation shall be fixed from time to time by resolution of the Town Board.
