The inhabitants of the Town of Bar Harbor shall continue to
be a municipal corporation by the name of the Town of Bar Harbor,
pursuant to its incorporation by law and amendments thereof.
The Town shall have all the powers possible for a municipality
to have under the Constitution and laws of the State of Maine.
The powers of the Town under this Charter shall be construed
liberally in favor of the Town and the specific mention of particular
powers in the Charter shall not be construed as limiting in any way
the general power stated in this article.
The Town may exercise any of its powers or perform any of its
functions and may participate in the financing thereof, jointly or
in cooperation, by contract or otherwise, with any other municipality
of the State of Maine, public agency of this state or of the United
States.
