There is hereby created a Conservation Commission
to consist of seven members and up to four alternate members as provided
by law, who shall be appointed by the City Council. Membership shall
include one City Council representative as a regular voting member.
The Conservation Commission shall have all powers
and duties as provided for by RSA Chapter 36-A.

The Conservation Commission is established for
the purposes described in RSA Chapter 36-A:2, namely for the proper
utilization and protection of the natural resources of the City of
Lebanon, including but not limited to watershed resources, as elaborated
in New Hampshire RSA 36-A:2.
