Notice of public hearing on any proposed local law shall be given by
publication of such notice in the official newspaper of the Incorporated Village
of East Hampton and by posting said notice in the Village Hall, the Emergency
Services Building and the Town of East Hampton Town Hall at least three days
prior to such public hearing.

The Clerk of the Incorporated Village of East Hampton shall cause to
be published in the official newspaper a notice of adoption of each local
law adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of East Hampton.
Said notice of adoption shall be published in the official newspaper
within two weeks after adoption and shall contain, at the minimum, the date
of adoption, a general description of the local law and the effective date
of the local law.
