[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of East Hampton 2-9-1962 (Ch. 16 of the 1971 Code). Amendments noted where applicable.]
Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 677 of the Laws of 1958,[1] this Board of Trustees does hereby elect on behalf of the Village of East Hampton to exercise and enjoy, through its appropriate officers and employees, the powers and immunities prescribed and granted in Sections 164, 165 and 167 of Article 14 of the Agriculture and Markets Law with respect and in regard to the Dutch Elm Disease within the limits of said Village.
