Cable communications systems — See Ch. 152.
The Advisory Committee on Cable Television established by resolution
of the Common Council on February 24, 1975, is officially renamed the "Cable
Commission." The Cable Commission shall continue to have five voting members
who shall serve five-year terms. Present members of the Advisory Committee
on Cable Television shall continue as members of the Cable Commission through
the balance of their approval of the Common Council. One member of the Common
Council, appointed in the same manner, shall also serve as a nonvoting member
of the Cable Commission.
The Cable Commission is hereby designated to provide day-to-day administration and enforcement of the provisions of Chapter 152, Cable Communications Systems, and any franchise granted thereunder, and to carry out the city's responsibility with regard to cable communications pursuant to Chapter 152, Cable Communications Systems, § 152-4A, subject to review by the Common Council as it deems appropriate at any time.
