Editor's Note: This ordinance also repealed former Art. I, Boards,
Committees and Commissions, adopted 6-5-1991.
Unless specifically provided to the contrary or otherwise required by
law or contractual provisions, at least 2/3 of the voting membership of each
city board, commission and committee shall consist of residents of the City
of Ithaca.
With respect to any board, commission or committee which does not satisfy
this requirement, the board, commission or committee shall continue to function
with its then current membership; however, all new appointments, including
reappointments to such board, commission or committee shall be residents of
the City of Ithaca until the appropriate percentage of city residents has
been reached on each board, commission or committee.
