A. 
No subsoil drain or drains below ground inside or outside of a building shall be allowed to discharge into any sanitary sewer within a sanitary sewer district in the Town of Niskayuna.
B. 
A subsoil drain or drains will be allowed to empty into a leaching pool not less than 20 feet from any building or will be allowed to be connected to a storm sewer or ditch on the street or road joining the property.

This article shall apply to all drainage connections to the sanitary sewer.

A. 
A violation of any provision of this article by any person, firm, business entity or corporation that owns, occupies, controls and/or maintains a single- or two-family dwelling shall be an offense punishable, upon conviction thereof, by a fine of not less than $50 and not more than $100. Each day that a violation continues shall be deemed a separate offense.
B. 
A violation of any provision of this article by any person, firm, business entity or corporation that owns, occupies, controls and/or maintains a multifamily dwelling for three or more families or a commercial building shall be an offense punishable, upon conviction thereof, by a fine of not less than $50 and not more than $100 times the number of sewer units assessed to the dwelling or building. (Example: 10 sewer units equals a fine of not less than $500 and not more than $1,000). Each day that a violation continues shall be deemed a separate offense.
