No person shall construct any permanent structure, wall, fence, post, pillar or other appurtenance or make any other improvement in, over or upon a Township right-of-way or easement.
The above prohibition shall not apply to a mailbox installed in accordance with federal regulations mounted on a support having a width and depth not in excess of eight inches.
Upon receipt of a 10-day notice in writing from the Township Clerk or Chief of Police that a structure is in violation of this article, the owner or tenant of the lands so affected shall, within the 10 days prescribed in the notice, proceed to remove the structure described in the notice.
Where such owner or tenant fails to comply with the notice within 10 days, the Township shall have the work performed at the expense of the owner or occupant of the premises.
This article is applicable to all structures prohibited by this article which are already constructed as of the effective date of this article in addition to structures constructed hereinafter.
