No license or permit, either issued by the Township
or for which township approval is required, shall be issued or renewed
for any applicant who is the owner of any real estate on which any
delinquent real estate taxes or assessments are due wherein the business
or activity for which the license or permit is sought or wherein the
business or activity is to be conducted.
The Township may, within its discretion, revoke
or suspend any license or permit issued to any licensee who is an
owner of property upon which the licensed business or activity is
conducted, who has failed to pay taxes or assessments due on the property
for at least three consecutive quarters.
Upon payment of the delinquent taxes or assessments,
the license or permit shall be restored forthwith.
The provisions of this article shall not apply
to or include any alcoholic beverage license or permit issued pursuant
to the Alcoholic Beverage Control Act, N.J.S.A. 33:1-1 et seq.
