[Amended 3-4-1999 by Ord. No. 250]
This chapter shall be enforced by action brought before a District
Justice in the same manner provided for the enforcement of summary
offenses under the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure. Any person
who violates or permits the violation of this chapter shall, upon
conviction in a summary proceeding, be punishable by a fine of not
less than $500 nor more than $1,000 or by imprisonment for a term
not exceeding 90 days. Each day or portion thereof that such violation
continues or is permitted to continue shall constitute a separate
offense. Each section of this chapter that is violated shall also
constitute a separate offense.
After any license has been issued by the Board of Supervisors under the provisions of this chapter, if it shall thereafter appear to the Board that the terms and conditions of the license are being violated or have been violated, or that any of the statements set forth in the application are false, incorrect or incomplete in a material respect, or that any of the provisions of this chapter are being violated or have been violated, the Board may revoke said license, and any lease for the use of the site shall immediately terminate, as set forth in §
60-9 of this chapter.
If any peace officer, or other duly authorized representative
of the state, county or Township, has knowledge or information of
any violation of this chapter, said person may institute the proper
enforcement action and shall inform the Supervisors of said violation
as soon as may practicably be done.
