GENERAL REFERENCES

It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to paint, attach, place or affix any sign, poster, advertisement or notice to any tree, shrub, telephone pole, light pole or traffic sign in any street, right-of-way, tree bank or upon any public property.
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to distribute handbills, circulars, notices, pamphlets, cards, pictures or any advertising matter of any kind whatsoever, by placing the same in or upon any motor vehicle standing or parked in public parking lots or parking lots provided for public use including but not limited to shopping malls, churches, schools, parks, restaurants, and other businesses.
Any sign, poster, advertisement or notice painted, attached, affixed or placed in violation of this chapter shall be removed and the City of Crystal Lake shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to such sign, poster, advertisement or notice.
