[Adopted 5-19-2003 by Ord. No. 1578-03]
As used in this article, the following terms
shall have the meanings indicated:
A scheduled dance or event held on the premises of a licensed
plenary retail alcoholic beverage establishment and restricted to
those patrons under the legal drinking age established by the laws
of the State of New Jersey.
Those individuals who are under the legal drinking age as
established in the State of New Jersey who attend a teen night as
defined above. This shall not apply, however, to individuals employed
by the licensed plenary retail alcoholic beverage establishment.
Teen nights, as defined in § 75-25 above, are hereby prohibited within the City of Passaic, and teen night participants who would attend are hereby prohibited from participating in any teen night event at a licensed plenary retail alcoholic beverage establishment.

Editor's Note: Former § 75-27, Exceptions,
was repealed 10-21-2003 by Ord. No. 1596-03. This ordinance provided
for said repeal due to the duplication of provisions, as the definition
of "teen night participants" indicates that this article does not
apply to those who work at licensed plenary retail alcoholic beverage
establishments.
This article shall take effect 90 days after
final adoption by the City of Passaic and upon approval of the Commissioner
of the Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control.
