This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the "Traffic Ordinance of the Village of Elmsford."

The words "public highway," "street," "roadway," "curb," "crossing," "intersection," "vehicle," "motor vehicle," "motorcycle," "bicycle," "omnibus," "horse," "driver," "pedestrian," "chauffeur," "operator," "park," "parking," "parked," "parking space," "one-way traffic," "safety zone," "traffic control signal," "official traffic sign and signal," "traffic infraction," "sidewalk," "stand" or "standing," "trailer," "semitrailer" and "house coach," as used herein, shall have the same meaning as defined in the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York. The term "commercial vehicle" as used herein shall have the meaning as defined in § 335-3B of this Code.
