A.
When any vehicle is parked or abandoned on any highway within this Village during a snowstorm, flood, fire or other public emergency which affects that portion of the public highway upon which said vehicle is parked or abandoned, said vehicle may be removed by the order of the Chief of Police or his designated representative.
B.
When any vehicle is found unattended on any highway within this Village where said vehicle constitutes any obstruction to traffic, said vehicle may be removed by order of the Chief of Police or his designated representative.
C.
When any vehicle is parked or abandoned on any highway within this Village where stopping, standing or parking is prohibited, said vehicle may be removed by order of the Chief of Police or his designated representative.
D.
When any vehicle is found to be in violation of Article VII hereof, said vehicle may be removed by order of the Chief of Police or his designated representative.

E.
When any vehicle is found to be in violation of § 282-25B(1), F or G hereof, said vehicle may be removed by order of the Chief of Police or his designated representative.

F.
The authority for the Chief of Police or his designated representative to impound vehicles under this section shall mean and include the authority to "boot" vehicles so that such vehicles are immovable.
