The Town of Old Saybrook, pursuant to C.G.S. § 11-20 et seq.,
establishes a public library hereinafter known as the "Acton Public Library."
There shall be a Board of Directors of the Acton Public
Library consisting of nine members appointed by the Board of Selectmen, such
Directors to manage the affairs of the Library in the manner prescribed by
statute. The Board of Selectmen shall designate such Directors to serve terms
of such length as provided by C.G.S. § 9-207 and shall further appoint
Directors upon resignation, vacancy, or expiration of terms.
