City of Nashua, NH Article IV Turning Movements

§ 320-12 U-turns.

It shall be unlawful for an operator of any vehicle to make a U-turn at any of the following locations:

Daniel Webster Highway	Between Poisson Avenue and Autumn Leaf Drive at median island curb cuts designated for emergency vehicles only
Daniel Webster Highway	Northbound at its intersection with Spit Brook Road
Daniel Webster Highway [Repealed 2-10-2015 by Ord. No. O-14-036]
Main Dunstable Road	Southbound on Main Dunstable Road at a point approximately 150 feet south of its intersection with Northeastern Boulevard
Main Street	Between the northerly side of Franklin Street and the southerly side of Kinsley Street
Somerset Parkway	At Trafalgar Square for vehicles traveling northeasterly on Somerset Parkway
Spit Brook Road	Westbound at its intersection with Brook Village Road
Spit Brook Road	Westbound at its intersection with Tara Boulevard

§ 320-13 Left turn prohibited at all times.

A. Left turns shall be prohibited at all times at the following intersections:

	Concord Street	Onto Nashville Street, for vehicles moving in a northerly direction on Concord Street
	Court Street	Onto Court Street, for vehicles moving in a westerly direction on Church Street
	Daniel Webster Highway	At the median island curb cuts designated for emergency vehicles only on Daniel Webster Highway between Poisson Avenue and Autumn Leaf Drive

	Riverside Street	Onto Redmond Street from Riverside Street
	Trafalgar Square	From Trafalgar Square, for vehicles traveling northbound, to Somerset Parkway
	Tyler Street	Onto Main Street, for vehicles moving in a westerly direction on Tyler Street
	Water Street Ramp	Onto Factory Street from the Water Street Ramp
	West Hollis Street	Onto the southbound entrance ramp of Interchange Number 5 of the F. E. Everett Turnpike
	West Hollis Street	Onto West Hollis Street from the westerly most exit of the parking lot located at 591 West Hollis Street

B. The above provisions shall not prevent left turns for emergency vehicles.

§ 320-14 Left turn prohibited at specified times.

A. The Police Department may determine the time at which drivers of vehicles shall not make a left turn at the following intersections, and shall place proper signs at such intersections:

	Main Street and Hollis Street
	Main Street and Park Street
	Main Street and Pearl Street

B. The making of left turns may be prohibited between such times as the Police Department may determine and may be permitted at other hours, which shall be plainly indicated on the signs, or the signs may be removed when such turns are permitted.

C. No left turn certain hours. There shall be no left turn from the first-named street onto the second-named street between the hours indicated:

§ 320-15 Crossing streets.

Vehicles crossing from one side of a street to the other, in any street or part thereof named in this article, shall, except in case of necessity, do so by turning to the left so as to head in the same direction as the traffic on that side of the street.

§ 320-16 Right turn on red prohibited.

It shall be unlawful for a vehicle to proceed to make a right turn on a red traffic light indication at the following intersections, and authority is hereby granted for the erection of signs so indicating:[1]
